"A booming economy and a market crash..." posted by ~Ray

Booming Economies: Brett Favre the quarterback of the Green Bay Packers is having without a doubt one of the best seasons of his career. He has the packers at 10-1 and a date with the Dallas Cowboys tonight. This could very well be a preview of the NFC championship game. The wonderless arm of Favre is sure to put on a show tonight win or lose he will play big. Johan Santana. Minnesota Twins pitcher has like 5 teams fighting over him including all of the teams who aren't afraid to spend some dolla dolla billz. He is in position to be gettin paid like 130 million paid. His stock is as high as is will get. Although he didn't have as good a year last year as his previous two he is still the best LHP in the AL. Lebron James the high flying superstar who appears in our banner is having MVP numbers this season. He eats breaths and sleeps triple doubles. He gets drunk off of throwing down dunks over dudes and he is still so young. He is making every fantasy owner have wet dreams about the possibilities of a fantasy championship trophy. Lebron is setting the market. Missouri Tigers Football team right now they are #1 in the land and are on pace to play in the national championship game.. but that's why they are booming right now. They could very easily have a market crash if they lose to Oklahoma this Saturday. It was a quick stay atop the polls! Sell Sell SellDwight Howard the king of the centers right now he is young fresh and dunkin over bitches every night. Kevin Durant said he is the most dominate player in the NBA. The only word to describe Dwight is waytoobigforyou. And those going down like kamikaze pilots:Charlie Weis has his Notre dame fighting Irish on the verge of.. nothing. Weis has spent most of his season eating instead of coaching his football team to victories. I will give him this they are a very young team and this is a rebuilding year but we didn't need to rebuild an entire empire it has taken way too long. Sorry Charlie. I think Notre Dame needs to bring back that sweet talkin Lou Holtz! The Hibachi aka Gilbert Arenas went down earlier this month with another knee injury. He battled the entire offseason with knee surgeries and he has been put in the garage for another 3 months.. or more. Fantasy owners are having nightmares of Gilbert on their team. Barry Bonds is sweating like he is going on trial. Oh wait he is going on trial and most likely prison. There isn't much to say about this because we all had wayyy too much of this story from ESPN but Bonds is clearly a market that's crashing. The New York Jets. The play Miami this week so how could they be a market crash? They are the underdogs to a team that hasn't won a game all year!! That's right the dolphins are favored in the game. Unbullievable. Bobby Knight has himself in the headlines again and its not good either. On a recent hunting trip. Coach Knight was on video arguing with another man about shooting pellets into the mans home and pool. Coach Knight claimed that he didn't shoot anywhere near the guy. C'mon Bobby go back to Knight school. See the video below ====>>> So. I'm really excited about tonight's game. As a huge Packers fan I'm really hoping for some kind of miracle blowout. It sucks that we have to play in Dallas its a difficult place to play at and I think Favre has never won in Dallas.. has he? Today might be the day its like watching the old packers team again and Favre is better than ever. I just took on the Pack +7 points which I think is a sure winner. GO PACKERS!!! Welcome to Bullievable Sports! This was created by 2 USF students who love our team the South Florida Bulls. We are dedicated to bringing you the best sports news in the land bullieve it. Sit back relax grab that week old pizza out the fridge and enjoy this is Leavitt Town USA.

"Hokies comment on defeat" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-01-07 23:36:35

Mark Berman here from Penn express where the Virginia Tech men's basketball aggroup cut to Penn express 66-61 on Wednesday night in the Big Ten-ACC Challenge. There will be a game story in Thursday's paper and a follow-up story with plenty of quotes in Friday's paper but here are some comments by the Hokies to tide you over until then. Geary Claxton the eighth-leading scorer in Penn express history got in hit affect and had just eight points. He was averaging 22 points but was just 4-of-10 from the field. Jamelle Cornley was averaging 12 points but had just four points Wednesday."If somebody would've told me we would've held Claxton and Cornley to [12 points combined] ... I probably would've thought we would've won the bet," Tech instruct Seth Greenberg said."We've got to be a little more disciplined in terms of our defensive principles and we've got to be more consistent with our effort. We played hard but I think the hardest thing to teach young players is understanding you've got to play every play."Tech cut to 2-3. Penn State improved to 3-3. The Hokies cut the lead to 48-47. 50-49. 54-51. 58-55. 60-59 and 64-61 but Penn express never lost the lead in the back up half."They're young desire we are," Penn express coach Ed DeChellis said. "They had us sideways for a little bit and then we got straightened back out and our young kids made some big plays."Greenberg again started two freshmen and played five freshmen. He played three freshmen down the stretch - Hank Thorns. Malcolm Delaney and Jeff Allen - along with Deron Washington and A. D. Vassallo. Tech trailed 38-28 at halftime"We lost it in the first half," Delaney said of the game."We've been having a lot of bad shot selection during this course of this little three-game losing streak we've been having but hopefully we could bring home the bacon on that," Thorns said. "That's something that could be fixed."Tech did play poorly in the first half but Greenberg and the players did not blame their play on having had to fly from Anchorage to Salt Lake City to Atlanta to Roanoke on Sunday when they returned from the Great Alaska Shootout."We need to come out and play harder in the first half," said Allen who had 18 points and 14 rebounds. Tech did play better in the second half. The Hokies shot 37.1 percent from the field in the first half but 52 percent in the back up. PSU shot 53.3 percent in the first half and just 40 percent in the second. Six of the Nittany Lions' seven 3-pointers came in the first half."Defensively we were a little.

"Thursday 11/29 AM Quickie:Miles, Plus-One, Young, Howard, More!" posted by ~Ray

communicate to Les Miles: I believe this is end-game. I think that the deal ordain be done by early next week. That's just speculation given the realities of recruiting and the whole "if you don't want to be here we don't want you here" thing. (Brian create from raw material from MGoBlog.) That plus LSU will have to start their own coaching examine and that's where it gets interesting. I said it last week: I think alter now. LSU has become a better (if far tougher) coaching gig than Cowboys-Packers play in NFC Game of the Year tonight: Supposedly. How would you experience if you can't watch it because it's on the NFL communicate? What a debacle when the conference's best game of the year -- and the NFL Network's best game in its short history -- is not widely available nationally. Pick: Cowboys. (Complete NFL picks coming tomorrow as usual.) BCS won't undergo a playoff but a "plus-one" might happen eventually (via USA Today): I would desire to see a playoff as much as the next fan (despite my firm belief that college football's regular toughen IS a de facto playoff system unique in all of sports). But let me be clear: If you think it's hard to choose two teams to play for the call now try picking two more teams after the myriad possibilities of results AFTER the bowls. The only way it could possibly bring home the bacon is if two existing BCS bowls rotating on an annual basis matched 1-vs-4 and 2-vs-3 with the winners meeting in the Plus-One title game. Problem 1: How do you determine the Top 4? Through the BCS formula? That formula can barely get 1-vs-2 alter. Selection Committee? Eh. That works beat when you're picking 30 at-large teams not 4. Problem 2: Particularly in a toughen like this how would you fairly determine 4 teams when there are at least 8 in that conversation? The Plus-One only seems to work in those rare seasons when after the bowls there is a clear-cut unify of teams you'd like to see play for the title. The most common example is 2003 when LSU and USC split the title. Great: 1 out of X years the Plus-One makes comprehend. Do it! Luckily it's a moot point: I don't think the Pac-10 or Big Ten would EVER go for a "Plus-One" copy just like they ordain never go for a more traditional playoff system. I dog both for their stodginess but in this inspect they're alter to reflexively gag at the Plus-One. (You know for all of its flaws the regular season DID bring home the bacon to get the enumerate of consensus contenders down to a mere THREE with national -- perhaps continental CFB Tonight: Rutgers-Louisville. This was supposed to be a HUGE bet. Both teams were supposed to be Big East contenders -- if not BCS national-title contenders. Now it's merely a chance for Rutgers to follow-up last year's program-making win over Louisville with another something to build on for next year... And the come about for Louisville to partially salvage an otherwise dreadful season. If Louisville loses ordain first-year UL coach Steve Kragthorpe lose his job? Let's act the cerebrate on one-time Heisman contenders Brian Brohm and Ray sieve both of whom will do just fine in the NFL compose next spring. CFB Coaching Carousel: In a nice change of pace. Syracuse WON'T blast Greg Robinson. They'll just wait until next year because firing after four years seems a little less unseemly than firing after three. Won't get them to respectability any faster. Meanwhile. Nebraska is reportedly down to Turner Gill and Bo Pelini: After initially coming out against Gill. I switched and now I'm supporting his hire. Doesn't Gill undergo more head-coaching experience than Pelini? Pelini was a fine D-coordinator at LSU.. of cover not-so-fine if you factor in the way his D was torched by McFadden and Co measure pass. Let's let the Gill Era mouth. (That's my prediction of who gets the job.) MLB Hot Stove: Delmon Young traded to the Twins. He's a huge talent (and a huge head-case) and -- if you calculate in be and age -- he more than makes up for Torii Hunter's departure. (From the Rays' perspective they get another promising young arm which can't hurt. Garza joining top compose choose David Price instantly makes the Rays' rotation stronger.) (Yes yes: Francisco -- not Chad -- Cordero. Fixed. Removed. Whatever. You can forbid sending emails and comments now. Come on: Would you expect anything less from me?) NBA Stud: Dwight Howard scores a career-high 39 with 16 rebounds and the Magic defeat the Sonics. You know: I was WAY too quick to change surface in the approach of the "LeBron as MVP" compel. (I picked LeBron as my MVP two seasons ago so I hardly be to open my cred as someone who values LeBron as MVP-worthy.) And if you were starting a aggroup from scratch and had your choose of ANY player in the NBA to build your aggroup around (taking out marketing be as a calculate). LeBron might be No. 1 but Howard would be 1B. Scariest of all: Howard comfort barely knows how to play. ) or dislike Tebow's "golden boy" aura but you undergo to admit that a sophomore (finally) winning the award would be kind of cool. Northwestern AD Mark Murphy to lead Packers: In all the hoopla over the college football coaching carousel how about the AD carousel? There's a on the beat (and only) Northwestern football blog. Here's an from today. change surface if you don't care about NU it's pretty fascinating. CBB: Big Ten continues to get crushed by ACC in "Challenge" (ironic quotes required). UNC wins. BC wins. (Big Ten notches two wins last night with 's Sexiest Sportscaster as determined by Playboy. I evaluate she's qualified as "hot for female sports reporter," but she is a phenomenon – leveraging her popularity on college campuses to change state arguably the most popular female talent in sports. Yet another title for the Florida Gators by the way. Sean Taylor Update: Police said they have no bear witness to tell the robbery and shooting was anything but random making the mainstream sports media's coverage on Monday focusing on Taylor's past and insinuating he had it coming (and mostly fuzzying the actual story that a guy was critically wounded) all the more disgraceful. jumping on the anti-+1 when would you play the game? do you have the "semi-finals" before the big bowls and use the BCS bowls as the "finals"? or do you use the BCS bowls as the "semi-finals" and play the +1 game in the thick of the NFL playoffs? I agree with you Dan that it seems to be a reaction to this particular season can anyone else name a toughen besides 2003 where the champion wasn't truly decided? I'm starting to get really annoyed by the commentary on Sean Taylor. From what I undergo construe populate are not insinuating that he "had it coming" however his past absolutely may have something to do with what happened. Just because someone has cleaned up their life over the past year does not mean that the past cannot go approve to haunt them. Antrel Rolle was his childhood friend and he said Taylor was scared for his life every time he was in Miami because of old friends that weren't happy that he was trying to turn his life around. I undergo no idea what happened but it doesn't seem desire a random break-in to me and I don't evaluate that people bringing up his past were wrong in doing so. The Twins trading their starting shortstop makes dwell for Reyes. Now they can trade Santana to the Mets and choose up perhaps Lastings Milledge (for advance change considerations) and Reyes and then either play Harris at SS and trade Reyes or trade Harris for young pitching. I think this change is just the first sign of big things ahead! The plus one copy would undergo been.

"The Best Rivalry in Sports; And Give Props to Jorge Posada ..." posted by ~Ray

Did you see measure night’s bet between the Sox and Yanks? I’m sorry but this has got to be the beat rivalry in sports hands drink. Just when we can’t create by mental act any more drama between these two teams it just keeps getting exceed. First of all. Friday night was pretty much a disaster for Boston. Ahead 6 runs late in the bet and they can’t direct it? It’s pathetic. And as I heard one sports writer say. “Just as the Angels are in the Yankees’ heads the Yankees are in the Sox heads.” The Yankees KNOW they can beat the Sox. And not only that. A-Rod knows he can defeat Papelbon—the biggest defensive weapon the Sox undergo who has been terrorizing AL hitters for the measure month. So Friday’s bet was huge. And then last night’s game featured the 2 winningest pitchers in the AL in Wang and Beckett. The stakes were high for that matchup and considering the Sox were comfort intent on breaking up the Yankees ten year stranglehold on the AL East. The bet was deadlocked at 1-1 for most of the bet. That is until 2007 official goat JD Drew actually came up with a get hold of hit and put Boston ahead 2-1. But perhaps the beat part of the game was with no outs in the sixth and Hinske on third locate when a grounder to back up baseman Cano was quickly rifled home to Posada who was out in lie of the plate awaiting Hinkse. Posada caught the roll put his hands out and turned just in measure to be absolutely mauled by the driving Hinske. It was an absolute plow-job and Posada went flying. But just as quickly as he went he seemed to get up and present the roll swiftly from his glove to the home-plate umpire. OUT! I stood mesmerized while watching these replays over and over again. It was the hit most intense best baseball play I’d ever seen. And all I have to say is that Jorge Posada deserves some consider for that. He got absolutely cracked—in the head too!—and barely even flinched. What a warrior. Even a Red Sox fan such as myself can appreciate that. Meanwhile the confront by Hinske seemed to get the Sox going and then went on to advance 3 times in the inning despite the out. They ended up blowing out the Yanks after all this 10-1 taking approve momentum from NY and putting them on the defensive again. Tomorrow’s game will feature even more drama of cover as the hated Roger Clemens comes back to Fenway Park for the first measure since 2003—and probably for the last measure (unless they cater in the playoffs). So it’ll be Schill vs. Clemens. Don’t desire it! It’s the greatest rivalry in sports.

09/14 17:17 "I told you to use Apple." 2001 iBook. Was Apple positioned as corrupted by them? Was the iPod in beat swing??Then it don't matter::::The devolution of corporate partners good and evil so as to not accept good to exist in the marketplace all justified with bear witness Destiny positioning. As time goes on and you fail in your goal to go the task becomes increasingly harder. It is positioned as if Apple's troubles are because of this reluctance to accept gangster partnership for this element sought to parlay their illicit wealth into allow entities. They used me in many different ways telepathically explaining to the disfavored that my poor orgasims were because I was being punished. The reality is that they were bestowing favor using inferred subtle clues to help me avoid damaging behavior. Due to their hypersexuality I guess they furnish blacks outstanding orgasims finish them well then disceive them by telling them it is due to favor when in fact it is because they are disfavored similar to the booze example below civil rights wav. This is a way the gods hurt the disfavored- "Don't let your daughter go out Italians." It is too bad the gods won't allow AI to be forthcoming with data::::What percentage of rapes during the 1920s were Italians the perpetrators?? 80%? Higher? And what is that number for New York City alone? Thousands or TENS OF THOUSANDS?? Computer???And when they came to the United States they no longer raped their own kind. Then they started to rape us. This is the prove of Italian women failing in their obligation as women to keep the men in lie. This is not disadvantage. This is legacy. bear witness Destiny positioning says the deterioration of society since the 60s was due to these Italians implimenting their new weapon that is Artificial Intelligence::::: The super-hypersexual Italians began using Artificial Intelligence to procure encounters pushing females into agreeing to undergo sex effectively perpetuating their legacy of rape into a new clandestine era. Computer please share THESE numbers!!!!I'd also like to remind you that the reputation "Catholic girls are the biggest hooches." did not refer to the Irish. You undergo your clues:::Stay away from all things Italian. Reality:::god hates Italians they experienced an early cut-off and if you didn't get out they would use the sell-out preditory do-anything-they're-told nature of these people to get the others to "go along" and use AI for sex. And mark my words things will quiet down and the gods ordain yet again use the Italian in this same capacity. Don't forget where you heard it first."(He would undergo done it.)" we comprehend yet again. We hear that all the measure:::::He would have sold out his children he would have dumped the AIDS virus in African water give etc. Fuck the Italians. They are Planet Earth's accpetable losses. Of cover the first incarnation of AIDS was preditory on males. AIDS in Africa is indiscriminate consistant with the Italian legacy. Of cover the similarities between the two groups are positionable because of the Moorish invasion of Italy and the god's Manifest Destiny positioning:::It appears as if the Italians inflicted their worst personality charecteristics on blacks. The term "paisano" is an ironic joke to the gods something familiar to blacks. For years the gods shared how some of those within the "establishment" used to capture black males. For real. Expect it happened within the context of bear witness Destiny ignorant Italians pissed off over the African/Moorish invasion. If Italians be to stay and end fixing their problems they can't because the gods won't let them. Due to their morbid discriminate.

"Hebron strikes again" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-28 13:52:23

In a bet that ordain go down as "everything I dislike about the move offense," Hebron has taken a 42-35 lead on a 10-play. 80-yard drive with 3:40 left. Six plays went for more than 10 yards and first downs on the drive. Either Wylie's defense is clueless or they need to change a rule in high school football allowing for a 12th defender. I guess I've been spoiled by watching Plano and Plano East run the ball and play good defense the measure few years. For those of us who love defense this is depressing. Guess I should get create from raw material for overtime because I promise Wylie will score again to tie this thing up. Yeah with the back up of the refs and extra down here.. a scoreboard operator who likes to add measure to the end of halves there. A few illegal blocks every now and then not called... Oh well. Overall it was a good game. Too bad the refs were horrible. And what was up with the measure out called by Hebron? The play measure was obviously at 0 when he called it and the refs still gave it to him. And the Hebron coach arguing w/ the refs.. the refs should have started the play instead of letting him act arguing. We all experience the coaches only goal was to furnish his offensive players be. Too bad Wylie can't cover the bunco routes worth crap. You know y'all writers surprise me. Neither team had a defense tonight and you know that happens sometimes. I'm guessing you also didn't like what you were watching because the game lasted 3 hours and 10 minutes. be if it bothers you THAT MUCH just quit going to the games and let someone inform on them that isn't going to complain about move offenses.

"Russia Faces Spain in Eurobasket Finals" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-23 17:48:26

For the first time since 1993 Russia is in the EuroBasket finals and will get a shot to win the call for the first measure since 1985 approve when it was comfort known as the USSR. Russia shocked favorites Lithuania on Saturday night in the Palacio de Deportes as David Blatt led a brilliant group who took hold back of the bet from the tip and never trailed but on top of it showed great character. Lithuania coming to this game unbeatable in EuroBasket 2007 chased after the Russian J. R. Holden had 18 points and six rebounds in Russia's improbable win side from the first moment. They made a heroic comeback from minus 19 to a tied game but Russia didn't blink for a second. Andrei Kirilenko in an amazing individual performance of 29 points and eight rebounds carried his team to a big win and didn't allow anybody to act this win from his aggroup. "It was a very physical game but we played great defense," he said after the buzzer. "Our goal coming to this EuroBakset was to arrive the Olympics. We've done that and now we're aiming at the finals. If we play as we did tonight nobody can ascertain us out."Ramunas Siskauskas was the only one who stepped up for Lithuania. He scored 30 points including five shots from desire range which cut into Russia's bring about measure after time but couldn't secure the win alone. Russia played 40 minutes of very aggressive defense and didn't allow any Lithuanian to get anywhere change state to the rim without being hammered drink. The bad side was that with six minutes on the clock Russia had three big men in big foul trouble – Morgunov. Khryapa and Savrasenko had four fouls each but eventually none fouled out. The good align was Lithuania's front line was out of the game. Darius Songaila. Darius Lavrinovic. Ksystof Lavrinovic. Linas Kleiza and Robertas Javtokas combined only 18 points and weren't factors for Lithuania. Russia stopped Lithuania alter from the start and after six minutes one of the best Siskauskas tried to do it alone leading all scorers with 30 points offensive teams in EuroBasket had only scored three points. Russia took favor of that to jump out to an 18-3 lead. Siskauskas and Simas Jasaitis connected on some three-pointers to furnish Lithuania some life trailing 20-11 but Russia took a 25-12 lead after ten minutes. Blatt's side opened the second accommodate with two hits from downtown by Victor Khryapa and another by Morgunov. When Kirilenko added a tip-in it was a 19 point bet. 33-14 but it wasn't over yet. Up by 17 Khryapa stole the roll at mid-court and was on his way to send a message with a big immerse. He missed and Rimas Kaukenas attach a command three pointer at the other end setting the advance at 33-19 and starting the comeback. Saras returned off the bench to hit a three-pointer of his own with a minute to go in the first half and Russia's bring about was narrowed to no more than six but the action wasn't over yet. Lithuania finished the half drink by seven. 40-33 and three minutes inside the second half was all the way approve in the game. Saras hit a mid-range jumper and dished an assist for a three-pointer by Jasaitis who made it 45-42. Russia hung on to the lead with every attach and muscle but Lithuania's aggressive defense and great execution made it a new game. Siskauskas hit five in a row to compel Blatt to call a time-out this time without the lead anymore. 52-52 with a little over four minutes to play in the third. Big players step up in big moments and that’s what Kirilenko was about to do. Six points in a row followed by a big block on Linas Kleiza sent Russia on an eight point lead again. 60-52. When Khryapa nailed his third three-pointer of the night and set the margin on 11 again. Lithuania was called on a challenge – to be they have the character to come back again. Squeezing their measure drops of courage Lithuania answered immediately. Siska hit two from the line instantly stole the ball and finished with a big dunk and opened the measure quarter with a three pointer to cap an individual 7-0 run and alter it 65-61. But tonight was Kirilenko's night and in order to be that he replied with a 7-0 run of his own and the gap was 11 again with 7:48 to play in the semi-finals. With less than a minute to go the celebrations on the Russian remove emerged as a team that nobody believed in approve home is in the EuroBasket finals. A group of underdogs on a mission. Russia ordain act on Spain in the 2007 EuroBasket finals while Lithuania ordain face Greece in the bet for the bronze medal which will also be a game for the second secured ticket to the 2008 Olympics. Paul Coro indicates that it was the Suns who turned down the deal (spin?). My anticipate is that the extra two years on AK's contract was the deal killer but if it was about whether AK could do the job -- then it might make a difference. There has not been a broach killer. The broach has not been turned down. Talks undergo stopped but they are not dead. We ordain sight out more in the next two weeks..

It’s a cultural thing. I think,” Jamie said. “Most brothers didn’t know that you experience. I used to see dogs fighting in the neighborhood all the measure. I didn’t experience that was Fed measure. So. Mike probably just didn’t construe his handbook on what not to do as a black feature. I know that cruelty to animals is bad but sometimes people shoot people and blackball people and don’t get measure,” Jamie continued. “I think in this situation he really didn’t experience the extent of it so I always give him the acquire of the doubt.” I like Jamie Foxx’s movies but just because you’re a celebrity doesn’t mean you’re the voice of America.  From now on. Jaime evaluate about what you’re going to say before you flap those lips with another raunchy breathe. Oh back to topic … I wanted to point out a Google Video that you should watch.  Produced by the BBC it documents the world of dogfighting (no Maverick not that kind). Investigation into the secret and dangerous world of international dogfighting. For a year and a half a BBC undercover team operated alongside dogfighting gangs in the UK and Europe capturing on camera the savagery of organised fights. The enter also reveals how American pitbull terriers - a banned breed created to be the ultimate canine gladiator - have been sold by the gangs into inner city Britain. This is proof why Michael Vick should never again be allow to play another professional feature again … regardless of what the dweebs on XHTML: You can use these tags: <a href="" call=""> <abbr call=""> <acronym title=""> <b> <blockquote cite=""> <cite> <code> <del datetime=""> <em> <i> <q have in mind=""> <touch> <strong>
