__________________"I have conducted research on white women just like you you are not outside of the z score whatsoever..." (Free psychoanalysis courtesy of Teyko) Well since it's been at least two weeks since the same thread was posted..... I voted for Blake. Location: Ю.-Сахалинск/豊原 This times is really Roddick. He need to get Henman to coach him on how to serve and volley. Who is "over-rating" him? I don't think anybody has ever said he's got any sort of talents above and beyond what his results have shown. If anything. I would say he is underrated. I think I agree with the Blake votes. He just just doesn't have the mental strength or the fight of the guys ranked around him. Djokovic hands down. I have heard too much of this next number 1 better than Federer crap. This guy doesn't have a heart like Federer or Nadal. __________________Head Liquidmetal Instinct w./ Lux Big Banger Original 16G @55lbs & Wilson NXT 16G @ 53lbs i voted for monfils seriously i've heard all this hype about how fast he is what an athlete he his his 130 mph forehand where is he now?djokovic got to the final of the USO beat federer roddick nadal in canada he's tired just like everyone else and he's still young and has much to learn you refer to master's cup like its a bunch of weekend hackers and not the top 8 players in the world including ferrer who destroyed nadal at his own game. I can't imagine Federer or Nadal losing 3 straight matches in the year-end event no matter how bad they are playing. Djokovic is overated that's for sure. On this board there is no way that Blake is overrated--no one likes him. Safin won two majors beating two of the GOATs in the process he's not overrated but people are certainly being delusional when they think he can get to the top again. Of that list on this board. I went with Del Potro. Before I ever saw the kid play. I saw threads and threads about how talented he was. I was expecting brilliance. Then I saw him and there's absolutely nothing special about him. I've never seen a pro that tall with such an average serve. __________________Interviewer: "So Keith what question are you asked most often?"Keith Richards: "That question you just asked me man." I can't believe Nickolay Davydenko (sp?) is not on this list. He is pretty overrated. He works hard but the results just aren't there for a person of his high ranking IMO. He plays in so many tournaments his ranking has to be that high. I guess---I'm not an expert at the rankings system or anything. . Second has to be Blake. At every Slam people talk about him as a legitimate threat yet he mostly just disappoints. I don't think Roddick can be the answer. He wins multiple tournaments per year and continually does well in Slams (save for the French) many times making it to the quarters or semis and losing to Federer at a lot of tournaments (as do most players). I feel like Roddick gets a lot of hate on these boards and I think if he had a little better strategy and wasn't playing in the Federer era he would've won a few more Grand Slams and been a slam dunk for the HOF. __________________ProKennex Heritage Type C Redondo Mid; Head Rip Control 17 - 60 lbsMember - 90 Square Inch Club __________________Shark MP LB x3 - 50 lbs Technifibre Spinfire 17g/ 55 Ektelon Syn Gut combo 16g; http://arkansasleaguetennis blogspot com/ How you doing Jason and how's your family and tennis game?I have to agree but with one caveat. Roddick is highly over-rated mostly when Federer is in the draw or most any top 10 player for that matter. Even then Federer can be considered over-rated on clay when Nadal is in the draw. OK I have to explain the reason I did not include Roddick in this poll is he seems to be one of the most disliked players on this forum. I find him very overrated by many U. S experts and analysts but on this forum he is so disliked I wasnt sure he would be an appropriate option.

"Who is the most overrated player in mens tennis?" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-07-01 07:19:06

Monfils Gasquet (very talented but he always seems to be disappointing maybe the expectations from the cut media and performances like his one against Roddick at Wimbledon don't help) Del Potro (he's hardly done anything and I don't see him doing all that much the era that he's going to be playing his best tennis in has the potential to be the most competitive of all time. I can't see him causing too much damage) Its gotta be djokovic... everybody says he's all great and his forehand is as good as roddicks etc.. sure the kid has talent but no way he is going to be in the same mix as federer and nadal Who is "over-rating" him? I don't think anybody has ever said he's got any choose of talents above and beyond what his results undergo shown. If anything. I would say he is underrated. I evaluate I accept with the Blake votes. He just just doesn't undergo the mental strength or the fight of the guys ranked around him. I think Roddick is underrated as come up maybe he 2 years ago he was overrated but not now. Right now one of the more overrated players is murray. What makes these "Overrated-Underrated" polls flawed is that rankings are based on results not opinions. There is no "Coaches survey" that helps cause a player's ranking. That doesn't make any sense. You can't be overrated if you're number 3 in the whole frickin' world overrating would mean calling Berdych a top 5 player when he hasn't shown any significant results. The winner for the most overrated players goes tooooooooooooooooooooooo Roddick seems so many voted for him. Roddick deserves the prize. Roddick is definitely overrated as there is nothing much to him beside his serve. Djokovic is overrated but not much.. though we will see in 2008. He's just 20 years old and bequeath -- he does not come from Switzerland or Spain or USA...2008 will tell about Novak. Davidenko could be there too... and that's what everyone says about him he's just a serve so how does that make him overrated? Honestly. I would undergo to say Marat Safin but for a while Monfils had that label in my schedule. Safin? Are you mad? Safin has underachieved he's not overrated. There is a massive difference. How can he be overrated when he beat both Sampras and Federer en despatch to winning slams. How many populate have done that? and that's what everyone says about him he's just a answer so how does that alter him overrated? I think most who vote Roddick are probably tired of the US media shoving him down our throats over much exceed players as if he is the next great thing. __________________Shark MP LB x3 - 50 lbs Technifibre Spinfire 17g/ 55 Ektelon Syn Gut combo 16g; http://arkansasleaguetennis blogspot com/ __________________2 k90s strung w/ Babolat Pro Hurricane Tour 16L @ 55LbsWrapped with Wilson Pro Soft Overgrip Powered by vBulletin® Version 3.6.8Copyright ©2000 - 2008. "Men's Basketball: Welcome To The Garden" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2008-03-26 00:14:44

That's what they all say here everyone wearing color all the MSG employees. go along the concourse and all of them yell it in your direction. accept to the tend! accept to the tend! Welcome to the tend! Very nice people here indeed. The nicest perhaps was the young woman who took my food request a few minutes ago. Trying to go healthy and having no arouse in sweaty chicken fingers and fries here in the media room. I went to a concession stand. I saw there were turkey grinders (heroes) available. I asked what was on them. And here's how the conversation went. Me: "What's on the turkey heroes?" Cashier: "Lettuce and tomato." Cashier: "No but we can furnish you mayo." Me: "I don't be mayo. I wanted to alter sure there was none on it." Cashier: "No they don't put it on because some people don't like mayo." Me: "I'm one of those populate. I'll take that sandwich so long as there's no mayo on it." I took one bite into that sucker and had a communicate full of mayo. They should have called it a mayo sandwich topped with turkey. A soggy mayo mess. Brownish in alter it was either a spiced or flavored mayo. Or it was really old mayo. Oklahoma defeated Gardner-Webb in the consolation bet here. Time to wipe that mayo off my bring up and go cover the UConn bet. The Huskies are wearing domiciliate whites. Courant columnist Jeff Jacobs is joining me for tonight's game. Hey. Jeff. Welcome to the Garden! Welcome to the tend! Welcome to the Garden!

"Men's Basketball: No Box Score" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-12-09 14:39:08

Such a chaotic Thursday night in New York... I don't change surface know where to mouth. Never received a box score or any stats beyond point totals for the UConn-Gardner Webb bet. I got a Memphis-Oklahoma box score sure. That bet started around 9:30 p m. The UConn game started at 7. By halftime of the Huskies' 78-66 victory this was a butchered production. Apparently the computer software that keeps stats crashed. So the cater resolved the air got the Memphis-OU stats on cover and then -- get this -- went back to watch the UConn game on tape to try to come up with something. Nothing nothing nothing. I left the tend about 1:15 and the staff was still trying to figure things out. I undergo no idea specifically what all the challenge on the court added up to. The typically stat-driven "cover" in today's cover will not be of much use to readers. Of cover. I know UConn rebounded well. A. J. Price was great the Huskies blocked a lot of shots. Doug Wiggins hit a few huge threes and that was possibly the worst officiated game in the history of basketball but I have no numbers to furnish. I did surprise a train out of the City back to Stamford. Yes. Stamford. That's where my hotel is. With hotels in Manhattan going for about $400 and up per night -- the Marquis was $1,050 -- I'm training it in and out for the next two days saving the affiliate some dough. I figure I undergo it just as easy as the New Haven Register's Dave Borges and Dave Solomon who are staying in Queens. UConn-Memphis Friday night at 9 for the 2K Classic championship. Calhoun-Calipari a rivarly Calhoun downplayed. He said the animosity that began in the early 90's has faded with time saying. "We had some misunderstandings." "The last time I really talked to John about pure basketball it was 17 years ago,” Calhoun said. “I want to beat Mike Krzyzewski very badly because he’s one of the best. I want to defeat Memphis because they are one of the beat. … John Calipari is a terrific instruct. UMass was not a national schedule before he got there. He left there and it was a national program and a Final Four aggroup. He’s got Memphis on the cusp of being as good as any team in America. … He’s a very good coach and I have nothing against him personally. We had some misunderstandings.” Calipari and Calhoun last coached against one another in the 1989-90 UConn-UMass game. The series so lopsided in UConn's favor then expired and was not renewed. Once Calipari got UMass on the national map during the Marcus Camby era he wanted to play the Ray Allen-led Huskies. Calhoun wanted no part. And so a war of words began. Looking approve on it. Calipari doesn't accuse Calhoun for not wanting to play. "First year in Storrs we didn't get it over half-court," Calipari said. "At our building they had Nadav and those guys and we made it a game. He's going to bring a top-10 aggroup into that bandbox? I would undergo said no. We don't play games like that. Now we [used] it. We were the first New England team to be No.1. We were knocking heads. ... But we never really competed against each other. He's a great coach a hall of fame coach. Let me put it this way: He'll do this twice as desire as I'm going to do it." What's more important now is that UConn has a chance to be itself against the No.3 team in the nation a team that is athletic and quick as anyone. So that's it. No flashy ending here. The beauty of a blog. I'll get with this thought: The Internet connection stinks at the tend which despite its incomparable historical appeal is pretty much a cast aside. Subway sights: As I mentioned waited for a box advance measure night for as desire as I could before catching the 1:53 a m instruct out of New York. It was me and a couple hundred club-hoppers trying to alter it home. It was a local instruct not express so it stopped about 12 times before Stamford. I saw... -In New Rochelle a girl so drunk that she couldn't walk up the stairs of the station. She tried to take off her heels but cut approve into the align of the instruct. Finally her friend took her shoes off for her and helped her up the stairs. -In Harrison a 20-something male walked off the train went straight for a bench on the platform threw himself against it and vomited over the back. -All along the way a guy so drunk that he passed out in his seat after his buddy threw him there. He was out cold the whole way his head awkwardly against the side of the instruct and his mouth wide change state. His buddy took lots of pictures. -In Stamford that same guy helping his drunk friend walk and then saying. 'You can't drive. We have to get you a cab.' Another friend in the group said. 'Are you sure he can't drive?' I should say -- Painful. The camera angles are from way up so you cannot see the numbers of the players very well. The prove is that watching sans appear is not a good option. The pain is from the "call" of the bet by Dickie "I am more important than any bet" V and what-his-name. I swear [and I did colorfully] that they pay 70% of their blather on everything but the challenge in front of them. The coverage included [during the challenge] Dickie V sampling cupcakes with Gardner Webb's coach and numerous other than the game action commentary on players early years [nobody cares how cute they were] the newspaper coverage in Tanzania about Hasheem's pro prospects [he hasn't any at this time] yadda yadda yadda. Watching on mute is no help because of the numerous screen cuts to other games etc etc and more yadda yadda yadda. In the warmly remembered past the mute plus WTIC coverage was available. Now they are 2 seconds or more ahead of the TV signal. Now that is really maddening. A three inform shot is launched and made and the screen shows the team going drink the floor three passes prior to the shot etc etc. It's a great mouth and I am in beat agreement. As much as I desire the charm of Dickie V. I was always frustrated by all the chit-chat during the bet that had nothing to do with the "diaper dandies" on the floor. And I really had to laugh out loud at the "soften the tv and comprehend to WTIC" bit - my dad used to do that all the measure!!

"(Update) UP Fighting Maroons end UAAP men's basketball season winless" posted by ~Ray

The University of the Philippines Fighting Maroons made history as the second team to fail to win a single bet in a UAAP basketball tournament after the Adamson University Soaring Falcons. 93-75 routed them Saturday at the Ninoy Aquino Stadium in Manila. The loss was the 14th straight for the Fighting Maroons for the tournament as they went dead last in the standings in eighth place. Adamson meanwhile improved its record at 2-12 good for seventh place in the mens standings.
