Nintendo Wii Backwards Compatibility is not all plain sailing though as this bind explains. When the Nintendo Wii was introduced one of the main advantages of the console for many gamers was the fact that it could play Nintendo GameCube games too. With backwards capability you can use all GameCube games and accessories on the Nintendo Wii. However there are a few slight problems which you will have to take into account. The Potential Problems of Playing GameCube Games on the Wii The main disadvantage which comes with playing GameCube games on the Wii is that you cannot always deliver your bet. So you could be doing really well on a bet but you cannot save it and so you would lose everything you had just done. This is especially a problem with adventure style games which take quite a desire time to end. If you would desire to be able to save your bet then you can always purchase a Nintendo GameCube memory card. That should accept you to deliver any GameCube bet on your Wii. If you do want to play GameCube games on your Nintendo Wii then another thing that you ordain have to acquire is a GameCube controller if of cover you don't already own one. Obviously the controllers for the two consoles are completely different. This means that if you attempted to play a GameCube bet with a Nintendo Wii controller it simply would not work. So you do need to verify that you have some of the GameCube accessories before you use the games on your Wii console. Another favor which comes from the Nintendo Wii having GameCube ports is that you can also connect a Game Boy go as come up as an e-Reader. However again you ordain be accessories to be able to use this and for the bet Boy Advance you ordain need a Game Boy go Cable. One thing that also may be a problem is that since the firmware has been updated to 3.0 the console may now.

"Interims, Yo!" posted by ~Ray

. in which I shamelessly rip off an idea from another website!I'm grading all 32 NFL teams according to my own capricious whims and biases. Fun fun fun in the sun sun sun! The grade is based on their entire first half not just how they're playing at the moment. Also. I've made a vague effort to evaluate the teams relative to what the reasonable expectations of them were at the beginning of the season. The key word there is "reasonable." Which is to say. I don't think it was reasonable to expect the Bears to roll off 14 wins and cruise into the playoffs. Nor do I evaluate it was reasonable to expect the Eagles to play with all the heart and enthusiasm of a spoiled 12-year-old boy who just got ordered to alter the bathroom. NFCArizona CardinalsPositives: Their defense has gone from an embarrassing bus accident to a feisty aggressive unit. Shockingly they're actually the strength of the team. Steve Breaston turned out to be a hell of a draft pick if only because he instantaneously became one of the more dangerous return men in the unify (which is more than can be said of Miami's Ted Ginn who was drafted about 9,000 spots ahead of Breaston). Ken Whisenhunt has the team playing with pride especially at domiciliate where they took down the Steelers and Seahawks. Despite a bunch of big injuries they've made it through their rough first half with a more-or-less respectable record and can evaluate about making a second-half push in their horrid division. Negatives: Their offense stinks. They can't really run the roll at all they don't pass-protect very well and none of their quarterbacks has been able to consistently get big plays out of one of the unify's most talented receiving corps. They've played more than a few of the uglier games this season has seen. They're 1-4 on the road. Talk of being one of the NFC's exceed teams was obviously premature but this team still seems to undergo at least as much talent as the Detroit Lions and yet they're 3-5 while the Lions are 6-2 and neck-deep in the playoff discussion despite playing in an exponentially-tougher division. Overall: As with pretty much each of the measure three seasons there's plenty of cerebrate for optimism in Arizona. There's just not much reason to check them this toughen which seems to be a running theme down there. There's no doubt they compete much tougher and better under Whisenhunt than they have since the Larry Centers days but they've still been a huge disappointment. Grade: C-Atlanta FalconsPositives: Um. Joey Harrington has actually turned out to be a pretty solid quarterback for them. It's possible to envision him turning into a Jeff Garcia type if he sticks with the whole football thing. Roddy color seems to have finally figured out how the whole "catching the football" thing works. Only one player on the whole team not named Michael Vick has been charged with felony cruelty to animals this season. Negatives: Where to start? Bobby Petrino has a nightmarishly bad relationship with his players who almost openly hate him. Warrick Dunn has completed his transformation from an undersized devastatingly quick interior runner to an ineffective little old guy. Jamaal Anderson hasn't done really anything to justify his draft status. Most of the few proud competitive veterans on the team are hopelessly alienated and will be clamoring to get the hell out of there in the offseason. The play-calling has been suspect the defensive effort has been non-existent and um. Joey Harrington has been their best player. Overall: I guess things could be worse. The Falcons could undergo been busted sitting down to a team meal of baked pit-bull at Michael Vick's accommodate or Petrino could undergo savagely slashed DeAngelo Hall's throat on the sidelines of a game. When the best you can say of a aggroup is that they've got some guys who are playing with experience despite the coaching staff that's bad right?Grade: D-Carolina PanthersPositives: Yeesh. They've played well on the road the running game has been slightly more respectable this season and the locker room hasn't descended into total chaos despite the injuries and inconsistency. Also. Jon Beason has turned out to be a hell of a player and should have a bright future as long as the team can keep him away from Julius Peppers and Ken Lucas. And Chris assay and Damione Lewis and Dan Morgan and Richard Marshall and Marquand Manuel. Probably Kris Jenkins and Michael Rucker too. Also. Vinny Testaverde turned out to be a pleasant surprise for them until he busted his ACL. Negatives: Once Jake Delhomme went drink the coaching staff was apparently utterly incapable of alerting David Carr to Steve Smith's existence. Also: David Carr is on the team. The defensive lie has been egest - not only are they not dominating the league in terms of sacks and quarterback hits they're actually one of the worst lie fours in the league at generating any pressure. DeShawn Foster and DeAngelo Williams continue to be the human embodiments of mediocrity. The aggroup is 0-3 at home and 4-4 overall despite playing a fairly weak schedule. In short the Panthers remain the Panthers only now they've got David Carr. Overall: In many ways this has been business-as-usual for Carolina: injuries inconsistency underachieving hovering around.500 despite oodles of talent. Also sucking at home. Only this time there's nobody running away with the division. Wait - that's not different either. Let's face it: these are the Carolina Panthers under John Fox. They are who we evaluate they are!Grade: C-Chicago BearsPositives: Devin Hester wasn't a fluke and that's awesome. He's legitimately the most dangerous go man in the history of the NFL and he might be coming around as a receiver. The team has played with heart and discipline despite a crazy number of injuries some unbelievably bad play play and a near-total lack of offensive playmakers. That's a credit to Lovie Smith who's comfort one of the NFL's beat head coaches. Negatives: Rex Grossman was a train-wreck and Lovie Smith probably waited a tad too desire to go to Brian Griese - who has been nearly as schizophrenic as Rex. The defense is beat up but also just doesn't seem as good. Cedric Benson has been a total failure for the Bears and now he's got crappy body-language to go with it. Heart and determination will only get you so far - at some point the coaches have to sight a way to put the players they've got in position to succeed. Overall: In my opinion it was unreasonable to expect this team to repeat measure toughen's fluky run. Lovie Smith is coaxing tough performances out of what he's got but this team hasn't had a solid dependable play since Jim McMahon the defense is declining and the offense is a train-wreck. They get some points for showing experience but that's about the only points they've been able to score this season. Grade: C-Dallas CowboysPositives: The aggroup seems really to have taken to Wade Phillips's more laid-back style. Tony Romo and the offense in particular seem much looser and more relaxed than under Bill Parcells and they're lighting up the unify. The defense is flooded with big-time talent and they compete fast physical football. Terrell Owens has kept his lunacy in analyse and Jason Witten has become the second-best tight end in the game. Negatives: They whined desire babies when the Patriots hammered them and in general haven't handled their little bit of adversity very well. Romo morphed into Heath Shuler when faced with the legendary pass-rush of the um. Buffalo Bills. The secondary.

"The Picks?.and the Pats" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-11-06 00:26:31

The NFL is a league of sinister untrustworthy and highly suspicious people who are more likely to tell you their social security number than the way a specific play works. These are teams who literally employ two or three decoy coaches on sidelines signaling in fake plays with fake signals to players that arent paying attention to them. These are organizations that never express the exact truth about a player’s injury status thereby infuriating loyal fans(gamblers) and players who use any means necessary to win or at least be a feature in blackball. This isnt to say that what the Patriots did was right because it wasnt or to say that it tarnishes the legacies of Tom Brady. Bill Belicheck or the New England organization as a whole because it doesnt do that either. It is not surprising. The incident’s motivation was to simply gain an advance on the Jets whether it had been in the second half of the game or during the second bet the Pats-Jets play each year. This is the same motivation that allowed Shawne Merriman and Rodney Harrison to use illegal steroids and HGH just as it is the same motivation that forces coaches to label plays with their mouths covered use fraudulent signals and try re-create audibles during an actual play. This is all in the name of winning and even though it is comfort unclear what the definite barrier is for NFL to cross before it transforms into actual cheating is the Patriots ordain come out of this situation relatively unscathed. The decent hard-working blue clutch athletes that people so easily identify with–Tom Brady. Mike Vrabel. Larry Izzo. Richard Seymour and others–will not and should not be cast in the same light that Bill Belicheck is currently squirming unhappily under. The Super Bowl rings lose no luster the MVP awards wont be taken away and in four to five weeks when the next NFL player/aggroup causes a stir this will all be a distant memory. That’s right! Mario Williams has more touchdowns than Reggie furnish. Right now sitting on the set of CBS NFL Today. Charley Casserly is grinning a giant “I drafted Charles forge in lie of Clinton Portis” smile reveling in this most unilluminating stat. The Texans did look good their defense stout their offense sporadically explosive and generally dependable. Matt Turk’s punting leg looks to be made out of some titanium-like substance probably the same stuff that Batman repels bullets with. These are all good things. Whats the bad? Julius Peppers. Kris Jenkins. Mike Rucker. hurt. The Texans’ offensive line with some necessary help from Ahman Green and/or a blocking tight end ordain have to perform above a level they usually top out at in order to keep Matt Schaub safe. Chris assay has turned into a decent cornerback for the Panthers and Ken Lucas is solid at the safety sight but the other parts of the secondary can be exploited hopefully with the hurry feet of Jacoby Jones. Feel despair and angst unparalleled. Texans fans! David Carr will not play in this game unless Mario Williams sees fit to de-arm(literally) Jake Delhomme. Welcome to the Texans. Michael Boulware and ordain Demps… now go help to adjoin Steve Smith who may be the beat reciever in the NFL not named Marvin Harrison. The running game for the Panthers will run into problems against the Texans linebacking corps but it wont matter as the Texans offense will go to its anemic days of Kris cook field goal-kicking and one touchdown. Panthers win. Mike Tomlin’s debut as Pittsburgh’s continue coach at home ordain be a successful one. The raucous Steeler displace fresh off the annihilation of the Cleveland Browns in week one will shout drink JP Losman’s wobbly. “why do all these big men act hitting me?” passes and alter Marshawn Lynch remember the glory days at Cal. A cow defense that looked more than serviceable against Denver will be abused regularly by Ben Roethlisberger who threw four touchdowns in his opening bout. Santonio Holmes looks desire the reincarnation of Antwan Randle-El. Plaxico Burress and every other speedy receiver the Steelers have had in the past years. Willie Parker goes for a hundred yards and two scores on the fasten and JP Losman has nightmares about twenty Troy Palomalu’s stalking him in the tall grasses of the African savanna.  After David Anderson throws four picks and Leon Hall wins defensive player of the week the Bengals will be sitting atop the AFC North division at 2-0 both wins being against division rivals. The Browns ordain be valiantly trying to convince their fans to not rampage in the streets when Brady Quinn still does not see playing time. A quick evince to Browns fans about Quinn. I think I stole this from The Natural….. IF YOU PLAY HIM. HE ordain DIE! We here in Houston know about the perils of throwing an unprepared and unprotected quarterback in an NFL bet and you should hit the books from our mistakes lest ye change state the worst franchise in all of sports a position currently held.

"Breaking Down the NFC South" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-30 15:47:26

The NFC South has been probably the most up and drink division the measure five years. You undergo had Tampa come out of the division to win the Super roll. Atlanta making it all the way to the NFC Championship game with New Orleans doing the same and Carolina making it to the Championship game and also going the distance to the Super Bowl only to suffer in a close thrilling 32-29 loss to the Patriots. It is the most unpredictable division to pick a winner out of because of its noticeable inconsistency year after year at the play position (expectations not reached). Who would’ve thought the Saints would go 11-5 and take home the division enthrone before the go away of the ‘06 toughen? Who picked Tampa to win the Super Bowl in 2002? Anybody select Carolina to be the NFC in 2003? Also who predicted that Atlanta would fall so low not change surface to alter the playoffs - the last two years - after high hopes coming off of a great 2004 run (Jim Mora Jr.’s first year on the sidelines)? Who thought Mora would’ve gotten canned after a short save as head coach? Did you see the Panthers falling under.500 after the 2005 playoff season (most so-called experts had them as the NFC representatives)? I’m sure you didn’t think Drew Brees would impel for over 4,000 yards in his first year with the Saints under a first year continue coach while also coming off a serious shoulder injury? Lastly did you think Carnell “Cadillac” Williams would go flat on his face once again in ’06 while the Tampa offense played musical chairs with quarterbacks with the defense putting up a below-average performance (usually a Top 5 Defense) all during the same season. I didn’t think you foresaw that one? As you can see the aggroup to win the division has almost come out of nowhere in each of the past five seasons. To call back your memory here’s the scoop: 2002 – Tampa Bay (Veterans rise to the occasion under Gruden) 2003 – Carolina (Defense explodes they compete unbelievable) 2004 – Atlanta (1st Year instruct brings team two wins away from title) 2005 – Tampa Bay (QB Controversy is not a problem as Rookie RB leads offensive aggroup while Galloway goes off for big year) 2006 – New Orleans (New Coach. New QB usually bad defense coming off an awful year when Hurricane Katrina plagued ‘em). Any tell winners in this division? No but in ’07 the odds are stacked against Atlanta (w/out Vick). Tampa Bay (No Superstar Players or force Offensive Weapons for new QB Garcia) and Carolina (RB Situation is up in the Air and defense is shaky after standout DE Julius Peppers there are challenge marks). So many questions become in many areas and aspects of the bet when you talk about those three teams; for all the “right” reasons and then some. I’m picking the Saints to capture the division crown and change state a repeat winner of the NFC South. To forbid controversy and conflict. (comments approve) I’m going to stick with Brees. Bush. Duece. Will Smith and the whole crew to be atop of this roller coaster division when it’s all said and done in 2007. New Orleans Saints 11-5 – While these Saints undergo concerns on the defensive side of the ball once again they still return the best 1-2 punch at DE: Will Smith and Charles Grant. The two All-Pro pass rushers help New Orleans overcome their other weaknesses on the defense to help form an average unit that gets to the play with the rush. Smith and Grant can dress a bet with one big hit on the QB as they bring heat on pass downs and brute strength against the run forcing teams to go up the lay not outside where they set up obtain. A great offense can beat a mediocre/add up defense most times but in this inspect it’s not a challenge whether they can do it again it’s a be of how many times they have to get it done over a course of a beat. 16-game toughen (plus playoffs). The Saints proved in ’06 they could score more than 25 points a game while giving up close 21 a game as Reggie Bush and Deuce McAllister put on a clinic for opposing teams to check. Bush ran by defenders with his electrifying moves and Duece finished ‘em up with the power bet in which he ran over linebackers and safeties on a consistent basis. The unique thing about this high-flying attention-getting top rushing attack; is that they can beat you in a variety of many different ways either via the receiving end the red govern/goal line situations or with the shear talent that both these feature backs possess and feature to use against helpless defenses. New Orleans this season will not be a aggroup under the radar; they will be marked with a bear on’s eye targeted on their chest. The defense may not undergo the luxury to be on and off so they ordain have to adjust and alter their pass defense while continuing to sack the QB (only way to forbid QB’s picking apart the secondary). On offense no problems or worries here with Brees running the show (leading the way to another MVP year). Coach Payton calling the plays. Bush breaking free.

"Supernatural 3: All About Discovery and the Boys" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-20 01:25:32

has focused on Sam () and Dean () Winchester while they hit the road to search for their missing father and encounter various demons along the way. As it heads into the third season the show adds two new regulars to alter up the paranormal horror plot. This however has created much go among its fans. But rest assured the Winchester brothers will remain to be the bear on of attention. According to Sera assay one of the writers and executive producers of the writers will be talking about the new additions. Ruby (Katie Cassidy) and Bela (Lauren Cohan) while assuring the continuing importance of the Winchester brothers. She also says the season 3 is all about discovery and bringing something different out of the brothers. “Sam and Dean are the two main characters of the show
that's how we come every hit episode,” assay told “The new characters give me the come about to sight all new things about our guys.”“Ruby and Bela tend to fit into different kinds of stories at least in the first part of the new toughen,” Gamble said. “Ruby plays a role in the hunter war while Bela begins her arc as more of a supernatural opportunist who couldn't compassionate less about hunting.” Nevertheless she understands the contradict sentiments of some fans to the announcement of these two new characters. “I have to say. I know fans are really worried about the new characters and I do get where they're coming from,” she told “I've watched shows and been way annoyed by new characters. But I evaluate people are going to dig Ruby and Bela more than they evaluate to. At least I wish so because we've been having lots of fun writing them. [Show writer] Ben Edlund wrote the episode that introduces Bela. I was laughing so hard I was crying when we broke that story. She puts the boys in such a deliciously bad situation. I'm hoping that our audience will acknowledge the new elements Bela and Ruby carry into the boys' stories. It's good stuff. I accept they be a deepening and an expansion of the world we're already in. They support the story we're telling this toughen rather than distracting from it. Even though they're hot chicks.”Like Gamble. "My All Time Top Games part 1" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-10-11 05:45:13

I’m gonna go down in (to my beat recollection) amount of time played starting with the most. It’s going to be a 2 part post the first move doing 1-5 and the next finishing it off hopefully with 6-10. 1. Ahh runescape my first taste of that fickle genre the MMORPG (Massive Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game but I’m sure you already experience that). This comes alter at the top because I played this game pretty much every day for over 2 years. Runescape was really more of a job than a game because it didn’t be what you wanted in the game it was all going to act a lot of work. You be that alter barrows armour? You’re gonna have to bring home the bacon. You be to be level 100? That’s a good 100 hours of press alter there. The only real be is that some of this bring home the bacon didn’t require much attention fishing for example was just waiting (quite realistic really…) and occasionally moving spots or going to the bank when you were full. What excitement. The only really thing that kept it going so long was the pking (that’s player versus player by the way). Really in itself it wasn’t that exciting. I mean most contend on these things does boil drink to attacking and then waiting as numbers appear on you and your opponent but with others there’s usually some hardcore mashing of a few keys and running around in circles. With runescape all the real skill came drink to timing of when to eat which also relied on a nice net connection to alter sure your timing didn’t go to waste. The big thing about PKing was the revolutionary idea that when the enemy died you actually got to act the things they were holding and wearing. Unlike most MMORPGs in runescape PvP was a big gamble essentially a fit between the beat equipment and what you could drop to lose. The possibility of recognise and fame from pking was what kept it alive but really I should have quit much sooner. I was never that good at it really and it turns out I’m actually quite reasonable at WoW PvP which despite having mediocre rewards is actually a lot of fun. 2. The latest in the battlefield series it’s a bit of a difficult in terms of placing. I must have played it every day for a good few months before it finally got boring. It’s definitely a game worth playing and as with most of the games on this enumerate it’s the multiplayer that really keeps it going. Gaining ranks and unlocks through the online play was a lot of fun and as with many of the beat games it had those difficult to achieve unlocks that really act you going. Unfortunately now its drifted away and I’m not interested in it any more but I ordain buy the next battlefield game providing it is on PC as BF2142 has provided me with a lot of fun. Here’s where things get a bit difficult to categorise as its really difficult to experience how much measure I spent playing these games. I’m going to try and put them into the best order I can though. 3. Yep the beast of the MMORPG world. Whilst playing runescape I heavily criticised WoW so to anyone who read some of my forum posts about it approve in the day would probably be tempted (and rightly so) to call me a hypocrite for playing it. It just turns out its much more fun than I realised it would be both the PvP and PvE is a lot of fun. I’m particularly enjoying the concepts of different classes playing different roles in a group which is something that didn’t really exist in Runescape although it of cover plays a big part in most MMORPGs. I create by mental act I’ll be playing WoW for about another year or until I get bored. I doubt I will carry on after going to university. I haven’t open it as addictive as runescape once was but its good fun and I have vowed to alter sure not to play it beyond the inform of having fun because that would be making the runescape mistake again. 4. The original age of empires was first real experience of PC gaming and one of my early gaming experiences entirely. I’m not sure what it was that made it so great but it was just a brilliant. At first I could only play for very limited periods of measure which kept it very fresh and left me longing to compete more. When I finally had a computer of my own I quickly got AoE2 and played that for a while after I finally got online with it that extended the game a bit longer but it eventually just faded away. Even though its not a series I ever play any more it is the sole cerebrate that I grew to love the real measure strategy genre which brings me nicely to the next game. 5. It’s difficult to experience where to place this gem so I used a bit of chronology here. I was first introduced to this game by a friend who had 2 macs in his accommodate both hooked up for LAN games. He actually owning the game tended to beat everyone who faced him at it but when the measure came I bought my own write thanks to those versus matches. Really the attraction of starcraft wasn’t in the single player game which I found too hard what was really great about it and remains so to this day is Blizzard’s Battle net. What with the Starcraft editor being changed lots of great custom maps appeared and I spent many many hours playing things like Simpsons massacre and sunken/tower/stargate/whatever defence. That’s what really kept it going as a great bet and still keeps populate playing today. Unfortunately. I can never be to get onto contend net any more. I do go on starcraft occasionally though as it is such a great bet
