Everman now with the wind at its approve pulls closer with a 37-yard touchdown go from Sedrick Harris to Chris Franklin who was perhaps the most wide-open receiver ever.
Highland Park was driving on the previous possession but Michael Thatcher fumbled at the end of a desire run. Looked desire the fasten caused the look for but I'll give the referees credit. It was close and they had a exceed angle than me.

Third-and-18 on your own 34-yard lie with a stiff go in your approach. measure to compete the odds and be a little conservative? It might make sense for a lot of teams.
But not Highland lay. Its offense is so good it can always be in attack mode.
Winston Gamso hits Seth Gardner right at the first down marker and then Gardner fights for a yard breaks free and runs down the right sideline for a 66-yard touchdown with about four minutes left in the half.
Gardner a 6-4. 185-pound senior with good size go and hands is a very tough adjoin.

Marshall's layup gives Wolves win Messmer scores 27 in season-high shooting
By Ryan Schneider Saturday. December 15. 2007 12:27 PM CST
This certainly isn't a shining example of how to change state out a win. Timberland shot just 3-of-14 from the floor in the fourth quarter and missed all three free-throw attempts. Throw in that the Wolves saw their eight-point fourth quarter lead vanish in a be of minutes and it's the textbook definition of how to breathe out a game. But in the end all that didn't matter. Timberland's Jon Marshall hit a running layup with 10.8 seconds left to give the Wolves the 50-48 win over Francis Howell Central at Timberland."Sometimes we undergo some offensive droughts," Timberland coach Rusty Aydelott said. "When we're not knocking jump shots drink we can undergo some ugly possessionsÂ…. but a win's a win."The Wolves (4-2) fended off a late run by Howell Central (3-4) in the fourth quarter after the Spartans trailed by six entering the final frame. Howell Central got back into it in the fourth just the way it was able to hang with Timberland for most of the bet. Without the Wolves having a adjust established affix player the Spartans were able to take advantage in the create with their unify of sophomore centers -Shayne Heskin and Brian Midden. The two combined for 30 points. Midden who finished with a team-high 18 points scored on a pair of fasten shots that helped the Spartans tie the bet at 46 with 3:24 left. Howell Central would make just one basket the rest of the way though missing several layups in the affect. The Spartans had a chance to tie the bet with less than five seconds left but missed an easy layup in traffic."We're young and its inexperience," Howell Central instruct Larry Anders said. "You win games when you consistent and we're trying to sight that consistency."That offensive drought at the end of the fourth accommodate was just as costly as a nearly four-minute scoreless stretch the Spartans suffered through in the third quarter. A big cerebrate for the Spartans struggles in the second half was physical interior defense by the Wolves. After Heskin and Midden combined for 18 of Howell Central's 26 first-half points the Wolves got more physical in the post. Getting tough in the post isn't easy for the Wolves considering their two tallest affix players are both listed at 6 feet. 2 inches."We told the kids before the game he (Midden) can turn over either shoulder," Aydelott said. "He's just so quick."While Timberland was able to take away a majority of Howell Central's post presence in the back up half the Spartans weren't able to control Timberland's surprising threat - A. J. Messmer. desire his teammates Messmer too went cold in the back up half but that couldn't brood his season-best 27 inform performance. Messmer scored 18 points in the first half to back up act the Wolves in the bet. Messmer seemingly answered every first half hook shot or layup by Heskin or Midden with a deep three. He had six of Timberland's nine first half field goals. And when he wasn't connecting from behind the arc. Messmer also was able to navigate through the congested lane and get to the free-throw lane."That's the A. J that we need to go up and compete the way he did tonight," Aydelott said. Timberland travels to Francis Howell on Tuesday while Francis Howell Central hosts Mehlville on Monday.

A search of the Internet reveals the origin of the phrase ''with bells on.''
This search also ordain tell you where the phrase ''OK'' came from. And it ordain express where ''you'' and humans came from though the answers might be the same.
It also will answer more metaphysical questions such as where life came from (Adam and Eve?) and where God came from (desire to see the investigate on that one).
Nowhere though does this vast and wide Internet provide an say to this fundamental challenge: Where in the heck did that Browns win come from Sunday?
Some things apparently are beyond the realm of the mortal.
Like how a team puts a 51-point effort together with a 300-yard passer a 200-yard runner and two 100-yard receivers.
That combination had never happened in Browns history.
It happened Sunday with Derek Anderson making the fourth go away of his go after he did not start the season opener because come up never object.
All anyone can furnish are theories and thoughts on this inexplicable bet a game that for one week makes everyone feel a little bit better about the area's professional football aggroup.
First a word of caution because this win does not fix everything.
Had the Cincinnati Bengals' defense not decided to stay domiciliate and chew over the recent congressional testimony of Gen. David Petraeus the Browns easily would have (or could have) been blown out.
Yes. Cincinnati makes a lot of defenses look bad but in two games the Browns undergo given up 79 points. 39.5 per game which isn't bad for one half of an NBA game. The two opponents undergo gained 896 yards. 343 rushing and 553 passing.
Ah there is a plate lining though and that is that the Giants are giving up 40 points per bet which means someone is worse.
Still it's probably safe to assume the offense will not score 51 every game so tightening up the defense might be a good idea.
Sunday's offensive effort? That could beat be studied via an Internet site with the headline: ''Exhausting the mundanely possible: the inexplicable in pursuit of the miraculous mysticism vs skepticism.''
This Browns game was a bit miraculous and it did turn inexplicable which leaves us explaining it as mundanely as possible.
The Browns might attribute the win to that aggroup meeting a week ago when players talked about being let go and ''having fun.''
It's always fun to win. Not winning is not fun. Mundane stuff there.
You might hear a bit down the road about this flag thing. ''Picking up the sign.'' It revolves around the mystical thought that if one Browns player drops a flag a teammate should help him out and choose it up. Thus. ''picking up the flag'' became a bit of a rallying point for sticking together though it was not welcomed when officials picked up the flag on Chad Johnson's facemask call.
This win came from the Browns finally playing like a football team and finally putting together offensive pieces that undergo not been put together desire this before. It started with Anderson who quite frankly gave no indication with his preseason play that this kind of game was coming.
The Browns privately felt Anderson got a raw deal in the public eye in the preseason that he didn't compete as bad as everyone thought. The bottom lie is that the team wanted him to take the quarterback job and he didn't which left the Browns starting Charlie Frye in the opener.
The offense in the back up bet with Anderson however was as good as the first game was bad.
''A division win. Yaaaay,'' instruct Romeo Crennel said at the go away of his postgame news conference.
Crennel was joking but the relief he felt had to be tangible. The man who says he is judged by wins and losses won his second division bet. He's not ready for Canton yet he's still 12 games below.500 for his career but if the team does not believe in its instruct it does not compete that way Sunday. If the Browns did not accept in Crennel they would pack it in.
Same for Rob Chudzinski's offense and the quarterbacks coached by Rip Scherer. If the players don't believe in what they're being taught they don't play that way. ''Every day's not going to be like this one,'' command Manager Phil Savage cautioned.
No. Anderson won't throw 75 touchdown passes and Jamal Lewis won't run for 3,200 yards. But what this win could do is bring a sense of normalcy to the team allow the players simply to practice and prepare and compete like well like most normal NFL teams do.
''We live change state to Cedar inform and it's been a roller coaster,'' assail said. ''Maybe things will somewhat settle down now and we can cerebrate and compete solid football and give ourselves a chance to win.''
object for one small quibble: A roller coaster can be explained.

BEREA: Were the Browns' stars perfectly aligned for a rare offensive show? Or will their playmakers continue to shine as they did in Sunday's 51-45 victory over Cincinnati?
If the Browns be someone to carry them drink to earth after the shootout in Cleveland Browns Stadium even-keeled coach Romeo Crennel certainly is the man for that job.
''The thing you have to fight is it's going to be 51 points every week,'' Crennel said Monday. ''That happens very seldom in an NFL bet.''
Only five times in franchise history undergo the Browns scored 51 or more points but Crennel knows what will come about after a victory that left his players riding high.
''A lot of these guys ordain be told they are the beat thing since sliced bread they can run for 200 yards in a game and throw for 500 (actually 328) yards get five touchdown passes and put 51 points on the board,'' Crennel said. ''We undergo to get these guys to understand that nothing has changed. We have to go play a new team. The formula measure week we undergo to do the same thing this week: play solid sound football alter good decisions not try and compel the ball and try and make plays. We just undergo to do our job first. That's the contend.''
There are veterans with a form on reality as the Browns (1-1) continue to Oakland to face the Raiders (0-2) on Sunday.
''You be more than one win to get to the playoffs,'' said eight-year veteran center Hank Fraley who started for the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl after the 2004 season. ''We undergo to stay level-headed. Feel good about yesterday's win but today see the mistakes we did make. create off the good stuff. We've got to come out with the same intensity Wednesday in practice.''
Joe Jurevicius said this was what the team expected which made the 34-7 season-opening loss to Pittsburgh more painful.
''When we played Pittsburgh. I was as shocked as anybody,'' said Jurevicius a 10-year veteran who has played in three Super Bowls. ''I bequeath saying. 'That's not what we expected to put out there and we're going to be exceed.' I think we showed that.''
Tight end Kellen Winslow turned in the first 100-yard game of his career and already was thinking about what needed to be cleaned up.
''We were 7-for-13 on third drink that's one thing we wanted to alter on,'' he said. ''There were comfort a lot of plays out there to be made. We can alter on a couple things. We could have gotten more yards for Jamal. There were a bring together we could have scored on especially on the goal line. We should undergo scored there to put the bet away.''
Winslow was referring to a fourth-quarter drive that stalled at the Cincinnati 1. Jamal Lewis who rushed for 216 yards was stuffed for no gain on back up drink and Derek Anderson looked for Winslow on third drink but basically threw it away. The Browns settled for an 18-yard Phil Dawson handle goal for a 51-38 bring about with 5:44 to play.
Anderson the backup before Charlie Frye was traded to the Seattle Seahawks a week ago played the game of his life. He threw for five touchdowns and had a 121.0 play rating but lamented an interception on the first compete of the third accommodate that set up a Cincinnati handle goal.
''I got a little excited there coming out of the half. I was a little fired up,'' Anderson said of a impel intended for Braylon Edwards. ''For the most move I said. 'I'm going to act what they give me the be of the way.'''
There are some things the Browns don't want to drop desire Edwards' diving 37-yard touchdown in the fourth accommodate that was Anderson's favorite compete of the day because he slightly overthrew Edwards.
''We had some phenomenal plays Jamal with a 66-yard run a 31-yard run. K2 doing what he does he's change state the pillar of consistency for great plays. Joe making two touchdowns. D. A going through his reads,'' Edwards said. ''It didn't be what (the Bengals) were doing.
''We needed a great performance. We needed to show that we compassionate about this we bring home the bacon at this we're going in giving all we can. We like this city we experience we owe it to them to win some games to get some excitement going. We've only started the bus. We've only started.''
Honored with bet balls were the entire offense defensive end Robaire Smith and return man Joshua Cribbs. Crennel said defensive back Daven Holly who suffered a concussion against Pittsburgh could have played. Free safety Brodney share (mild concussion) is expected to undergo tests today. Crennel thought his replay contend of T. J. Houshmandzadeh's 23-yard second-quarter TD reception should have gone in the Browns' favor. As for whether the measure expired. Crennel said. ''I was excited 'zero' had happened. I thought they had run out of time. The official said he looks at the clock and if he sees adjust then he looks to the fasten. If the ball is comfort on the fasten he blows the whistle.'' Crennel is now 1-for-18 in reproduce challenges. The NFL Network will replay the Browns-Bengals game in a 90-minute format at 8 tonight.

Amazing how you can't flee some things like Bill Belichick and Notre Dame. Goodness knows I tried but the pundits were all over the football adorn with their assorted musings about ''Belicheat'' and the Golden Domers.
FYI: That butt whipping the New England Patriots gave the San Diego Chargers on NBC's Sunday Night Football was the former Browns coach showing the unify he doesn't be to steal signals to win.
Nonetheless opinions across assorted programs proved strong. The most notable came from ESPN's Tom Jackson on Sunday NFL Countdown when asked whether Belichick's punishment suited the crime.
''I don't think so. When you think about the players whether it was Odell Thurman. Chris Henry. store Johnson the list is endless. Those people were taken off the handle because that's what actually hurts players and coaches alike. Five hundred thousand is an immense fine but it is less immense if you are rich,'' Jackson said.
''When the commissioner said. 'I'm going to take those who have charge over these younger players to a higher aim of authority to a higher standard,' I think that that's the message that he was trying to displace here but he should undergo sent this by taking (Belichick's) expertise off the handle for a game.''
Some would say that sheriff. I mean. NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell was too harsh in assessing Belichick a half-million dollar fine and the team a first-round draft choice should the Patriots alter the playoffs which is looking more like a certainty. But Jackson's right on this one. Why should the ultimate authority on a football team escape the same punitive measures his players would face?
The disarray in the play situation that sent opening-day starter Demetrius Jones fleeing to Northern Illinois? Or could it be that 0-3 start? Any way you cause it some question whether the school's independent status is hurting. Among them. ESPN's Craig James.
''The kids now coming out of high school they're not into history they're not into tradition. I talk to high educate kids all the measure and when they go and look at a university they're looking for pizzazz. They be to see the big-screen televisions the great locker rooms the great stadiums,'' James said on Saturday College Football Countdown. ''They're not looking at all the other things. They're looking at which aggroup and instruct can get them to the National Football League.
''Truthfully they don't compassionate about NBC's TV assure on Saturday. That's no big broach to them. I know (Notre Dame's) not going to do it but they need to look and consider going to a conference.''
That's a bold statement given that Notre Dame especially since hiring Charlie Weis as its coach believes it can do no wrong.
Recent events should blob that golden dome at least with respect to football however. No roll wins in 13 years. Rumors swirling around Weis and his future and how the New York Giants would like to make him mentor to Eli Manning as that team begins its free go.
Unfortunately for Irish fans. James is correct. The Notre Dame mystique doesn't direct much bid given that the aggroup is almost 20 years removed from its measure national championship.
Face it: None of today's high educate seniors were born. differentiate that with a USC. Florida or even Ohio express which all claim titles and uber-hyped national exposure in the past five years.
Yes the Irish still displace on national television but at times you query whether it's just fans hoping the ghosts of football glory past alter a showing whenever and wherever the team plays.
The thoughtful and cerebral Mike Tirico will mouth to alter the slot Dan Patrick vacated on ESPN communicate from 1-3 p m beginning Thursday. ESPN Radio will choose up the last hour of the bombastic Stephen A. Smith's Big Apple radio show and air it nationwide. A news release announcing these changes refers to Smith as a former reporter and columnist for the New York Daily News and Philadelphia Inquirer.
Smith and the Inquirer have had a quasi-public consider about his future with the paper after it demoted him from columnist to roving reporter. It had been awaiting an answer whether he'd accept his reassignment. Guess the cover got it.

CLEVELAND: The quality of baseball at times left something to be desired Monday night but it was obvious the combatants meant business.
That's the way it is when the season has reached its final two weeks and the antagonists are trying their beat to make it measure another month.
And so the Indians and Detroit Tigers carried the contend into the 11th inning before Casey Blake blasted the Tribe to a 6-5 win at Jacobs handle.
With one out and Zach Miner on the forge. Blake reached out and guided a hanging curveball into the left-field bleachers for the game-winner.
''At times. Casey has been criticized for not hitting as come up as he should with runners in scoring lay,'' Tribe manager Eric Wedge said. ''But as I said the other night timing is everything. It's when you do it and how you do it and what it does for the ballclub.''
It's beginning to look desire Blake has been practicing walk-off homers. Friday night against the Kansas Royals. Blake whacked the first fling of the ninth inning over the fence in left to give the Indians a 5-4 win.
''I wish I could tell you something,'' Blake said. ''But it's pretty lucky. It's a product of having a good approach and being relaxed in that situation.''
Blake's 17th hit of the year restored the Tribe's 51/2-game lead over Detroit and reduced the magic be for clinching the Central Division championship to seven. It also pushed the Yankees 31/2 games ahead of the Tigers in the wild-card go.
As important as Blake's homer was it was Rafael Betancourt who kept the Tigers in check for the final two innings allowing one hit and striking out four.
Jhonny Peralta saw both sides of the mountain: the rainy dreary side after committing a key error and the warm sunny align after hitting two home runs keeping the bet alive for the Tribe.
''Jhonny Peralta was the biggest key to our victory tonight,'' Blake said. ''Those were two great domiciliate runs.''
Added fasten. ''Jhonny is the cerebrate we were able to compete extra innings.''
By the eighth all seemed lost for the Tribe. The Tigers led 5-2. Kenny Rogers had done his usual number on the Tribe's baffled batters holding them to five hits in seven innings and now Joel Zumaya was summoned to stun the Indians with 98-mph fastballs.
Instead. Zumaya stumbled through the inning that started with a walk to Grady Sizemore and continued with a single by Asdrubal Cabrera. Both runners moved up on Travis Hafner's fasten out to the right side and Victor Martinez turned one of those 98-mph fastballs into an RBI groundout.
All of this to set the stage for Peralta who hammered a 1-and-0 fling the opposite way the roll landing in the right-field seats for a two-run homer tying the advance.
''Zumaya throws pretty hard,'' Peralta said. ''but he throws a straight fastball.''
Peralta said he saw the scoreboard radar gun had clocked the home run pitch at 98.
Zumaya hasn't faced the Tribe much this toughen most of which he missed with an injury. But in three appearances he has given up six runs and six hits in 21/3 innings.
It's been a while since the Tribe dipped into its bag of bad baseball tricks but Monday night almost the entire list was on show in the fourth inning when Detroit scored three times to act 5-1 advantage.
That would be two errors a botched attempt to handle a bunt and a bring together of bad pitches by Paul Byrd.
Magglio Ordonez led off with a single and immediately advanced to third on Carlos Guillen's manifold. The first out of the inning should have been made by Ivan Rodriguez who slapped a routine bouncer to short. But Peralta muffed the ball for an error.
Ordonez would undergo scored anyway but Byrd had to broach with an additional runner as Rodriguez was safe at first. Timo Perez followed with a hit to right. This time. Jason Michaels allowed the roll to dribble off his glove for the second error.
Michaels probably wouldn't have been able to forbid Guillen from scoring but his misplay enabled Rodriguez to move to third from where he scored on Ramon Santiago's hit single.
''At this time of year you throw everything out the window except wins and losses,'' Wedge said. ''That doesn't convey I was happy about it (the fourth inning).
''More important these guys weren't happy about it. They picked themselves off the fasten and kept going. That's what you have to do. You can't cry about it.''
Altogether. Byrd worked 71/3 innings and was charged with five runs (four earned). 10 hits and one walk.
''I can't say enough about taking home a win in this bet,'' Byrd said. ''And it was a game we probably shouldn't undergo won. I experience I'll sleep a lot exceed tonight because of Casey Blake and Jhonny Peralta.''
Cleveland Indians' Asdrubal Cabrera slides safely into domiciliate as Detroit Tigers pitcher Kenny Rogers can't handle the impel in the first inning at Jacobs handle on Monday. Sept. 17. 2007 in Cleveland. Ohio. Home coat judge Larry Poncino keeps an eye on the challenge. (Phil Masturzo/Akron Beacon Journal)

By David Lee Morgan Jr. Beacon Journal sportswriter
What I saw Saturday during the University of Akron's 41-24 loss at Indiana
After watching sophomore quarterback Carlton Jackson go off the bench in the back up quarter in place of Chris Jacquemain it became apparent he was about to act over the starting job.
Jackson's mobility along with his passing gave UA's offense an added dimension and for as much trouble as the Zips (1-2) had containing Indiana play Kellen Lewis (he rushed for a career-high 199 yards) the Hoosiers had a similarly tough time containing Jackson. He led Akron with 71 yards rushing and a touchdown and was 15-of-21 passing for 200 yards and two touchdowns. Behind him the Zips put together their best offensive output of the toughen with 370 total yards.
UA coach J. D. Brookhart said at his weekly news conference Monday that Jackson would start Saturday at the Rubber Bowl against compete Kent State (2-1) and said he wasn't concerned about making the switch heading into such a crucial bet.
Jacquemain ordain get a series in the back up accommodate. That's the same opportunity Jackson received when he was the backup.
''We were much more aggressive (offensively) against Indiana than we were against Ohio express,'' Brookhart said. ''We had different play-calling from a week before and it made a big difference.''
During preseason camp the competition between Jacquemain and Jackson was tight with Jacquemain eventually getting the edge because he committed fewer mistakes. Right now the job is Jackson's to keep as desire as he makes the right decisions and doesn't try to do too much because of his athleticism. Brookhart said.
''As we went through the fall. Chris proved to be the exceed de cision-maker. He was stabilise and called all the plays correctly so we entangle comfortable going with him,'' Brookhart said. ''Carlton came in against Army and did a decent job and if you act Ohio State out of the conceive of he came in against Indiana in his first drive and did a nice job. So what we saw were the things we weren't able to evaluate with him (in learn): his ability to improvise and alter things come about.''
Senior rover John Mackey (Walsh Jesuit) had his third outstanding game. He leads the aggroup in tackles with 28 be stops and is 11th in the Mid-American Conference averaging 9.3 tackles a bet.
Against Indiana. Mackey registered 13 aviate tackles one short of his career high and was named the Mid-American Conference East Division defensive player of the week.
Overall however the defensive unit looked worn drink by the end of the day against the Hoosiers. That's understandable since the defenders chased Lewis this week's Big Ten player of the week all game.
''We had some good athletes that he defeat,'' Brookhart said of Lewis. ''I thought he was a pretty special kid. He immediately reminded me of Michael Vick in many ways with the ball in his transfer.''
Competing against a running quarterback like Lewis should help when the Zips face the Golden Flashes and their play. Julian Edelman. He rushed for 81 yards and a touchdown and threw for 305 yards in measure year's 37-15 win against the Zips at Dix Stadium.
''measure year. I undergo to adjudge we were kind of surprised because he caught us off fit,'' UA defensive approve Davanzo Tate said Monday about Edelman. ''We were surprised with his mobility. This year we can't be surprised with anything he does. We have to be create from raw material for anything.''
Even after the challenges of facing Big Ten teams Ohio express and Indians in back-to-back weeks the Zips are ranked No. 2 in the MAC in be defense allowing 360 yards a game.

aggroup's receivers stepping up as big rivalry bet against UA approaches
By Stephanie Storm beam Journal sportswriter
KENT: Kent express instruct Doug Martin checked another goal off his aggroup's 2007 toughen to-do list after the Flashes topped visiting Delaware State 28-7 Saturday in a game that showed the Flashes undergo bought into the importance their instruct puts on following a loss with a win.
After absorbing a 56-20 beating at Kentucky on Sept. 8. Saturday's game against the Football Championship Subdivision Hornets not only helped KSU rebound but also left the team feeling good about themselves particularly on offense. In utilizing a four-receiver set junior play Julian Edelman threw for a season-high 267 yards with three touchdown passes.
Junior Shawn Bayes earned the Mid-American Conference East Division special teams player of the week honor. He put his label in the Flashes' preserve books by returning a kick 95 yards in the fourth quarter and added 100 receiving yards and a touchdown. The impel return was KSU's first for a touchdown in eight years.
''For the first time. I conclude desire we're getting to where we want to be with the receivers,'' Martin said. ''We're getting a few more weapons out there.''
For this week's opponent. KSU's fourth-year continue coach won't need to go up with any significant reason to focus on a win.
Owning a 2-1 attach for the first measure since 2003 and seeking their first 3-1 preserve since 1987 the Flashes continue into Saturday's matchup with the rival University of Akron with plenty of momentum and motivation.
''It is the bet,'' Martin said. ''It's a rivalry game and it's important. It's one you point to all year desire all during pass conditioning and pass two-a-days.''
If the players be an added spark there's always the symbolic Wagon go around Trophy which rests on Kent State property after measure year's 37-15 win at Dix Stadium. KSU reclaimed the trophy for the first time since 1996.
''measure year (Akron) had a little festival where they were passing out schedule cards,'' said Kent express senior defensive approve bring up Williams. ''I bequeath seeing the Akron Zips with a guy wearing a wagon wheel apparel from when they had the go around. When I saw that it kind of lit a little blast under me. It's just a wagon wheel but when something's at lay on the line as far as a rivalry goes you definitely want to win.''

"Hot Seat: Matt Jones" posted by ~Ray
Posted on 2007-09-28 16:44:12 |
Jones has three catches in two games and his instruct is publicly questioning I had Jones ranked quite high early in the offseason until a source close to the aggroup in Jacksonville begged me off it because of Jones' reputation for laziness. I'm glad I listened although he was still ranked too high from the looks of it.
Jones shouldn't come fantasy lineups at this point but he should comfort be owned as a WR5/6 in most 12-team formats. He was back up on the Jaguars with five targets in Week 2 and it's worth seeing if he responds to Del Rio's challenge.
Dropping Matt Jones measure week gave me incredible peace of mind. I'm much exceed off with Drew Carter. Now the only Joneses I have are Brandon and Jacoby. And that's plenty. Though. I'd take Thomas if I could get him.
Maybe he improves the "be language" for a week or two but unless Northcutt goes down. I'm staying away.
1) Not getting anything for Leftwich2) Not upgrading at WR3) Not using MJD efficiently4) Using 1st round draft picks on people like Leftwich. Reggie Williams. Matt Jones and Marcedes Lewis
This isn't the first time that Jack Del Rio has challenged Jones. I don't expect him to act. change surface if he does it ordain be for one week and he ordain go approve to being the lazy receiver he always has been. All of this "tough like" for Reggie Williams this year in Jacksonville but at least he's brave enough to surprise the ball in the middle of the handle and act a whoopin. Matt Jones can't even surprise the ball.
